THE AUSTIN GOLF CLUB STORIES

AUSTIN WINTER GOLF:  A VERY BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Paul B, the most senior junior member, gazed from the Austin Golf Club veranda through an empty green beer bottle. The pleasantly warm January day, the green tint, and the small buzz led him to wax poetic.

Football playoffs open wide the Sunday course

Dressing room debate on shorts or not

Sunblock passes on the first tee for white knees

The wise and wizened demur, avoiding two holes of slippery grips

The opening shot shall rise as the first ice cream truck tinkles down Peck Avenue

Let us head for the first tee.
